I wanted to add a new chapter to my fanfic but when I do, it only adds it to the original post instead of making it a new one. Why is that? I wonder because how will anyone know that I have posted new chapters if it only adds the new ones to the first chapter and not notify anyone?

Down at the bottom of your page, press the "bump topic" button, and it will resurface your post.

Thanks for the reply, but I cannot find the button in question. :(

It's right at the bottom next to users online but that won't help you cause it only bumps your topic to the top of the sub forum. What you want is for another user to post and then for you to post straight afterwards with your next part. Unfortunately this site doesn't let you double post I'm afraid. If you'd like I could reply to your fanfic so you could post the next part in a separate post?

I was wondering if it is possible for me to have permission to post my Batman Fanfiction on your FF forum please?

Go for it. :adam:

This needs a boost. Too many duplicates coming about in the spoiler zone.

This. It's a real pet peeve of mine, it would save so much time if these fan theories were allocated into more general threads.

Same user as well, and the topics he/she's making already have threads anyway (which is a problem I doubt we'll ever be rid of).

Bump! Cause this is important.

I agree with Jester on the "How to Post a News Story" thing too Image

Please use the search.php function before posting a new topic. :alfred:

This was definetly needed as of late. Can I also suggest bumping up the "How To Post A News Story" thread?

It should already be a 'Sticky' Topic in the News forum.

Yes it is, but a lot of people still don't see it is all :)

Benji, I agree with you. I used to do that a lot. make new topics but that same topic already made. Don't follow my example. Search before Type.
