I wanted to add a new chapter to my fanfic but when I do, it only adds it to the original post instead of making it a new one. Why is that? I wonder because how will anyone know that I have posted new chapters if it only adds the new ones to the first chapter and not notify anyone?
Down at the bottom of your page, press the "bump topic" button, and it will resurface your post.
Thanks for the reply, but I cannot find the button in question.

It's right at the bottom next to users online but that won't help you cause it only bumps your topic to the top of the sub forum. What you want is for another user to post and then for you to post straight afterwards with your next part. Unfortunately this site doesn't let you double post I'm afraid. If you'd like I could reply to your fanfic so you could post the next part in a separate post?
