Postby JordanT4021 » Nov 8th, 2015, 12:00 am

The idea here is to describe your perfect vision of AO2 with characters, plot and setting or simply comment on an element you'd like to appear.
Here's an example:

Main Characters:
-Batman
-Robin (Dick Grayson)
-Alfred Pennyworth
-Commissioner Gordon
-Harvey Bullock
-Barbara Gordon
-Ra's Al Ghul
-Talia Al Ghul
-Lady Shiva
-David Cain
-Bronze Tiger
-Poison Ivy
-Jason Woodrue
-Catwoman
-Twoface
-Prometheus

Side Missions or Cameo Appearances:
-Lucius Fox
-Calendar Man
-Clayface (non metahuman)
-Ventriloquist (Peyton Riley)
-Harleen Quinzel
-Renee Montoya
-Maxie Zeus
-Jonathan Crane
-Hugo Strange
-Court of Owls

Plot: After months of planning, The League of Assassins decide to make their first move on Gotham. With the help of Jason Woodrue, they create a weapon to extinguish the vermon plaguing Gotham. That weapon is a young woman named Pamela Isley. After studying Gotham for a while, Ra's and his followers realise they need to take down Batman in order to go ahead with their plan and so put forward some of their greatest fighters to go toe to toe with the Dark Knight. Costumed villains are also on the rise in Gotham, taking advantage of the nights chaos to carry out their own twisted fantasies. However, The League's secret weapon proves to be more powerful than they previously thought.

Context: This is Batman's first time coming face to face with Ra's and his daughter Talia. The game also establishes Catwoman as an antihero as the first time we saw her she was working for Amanda Waller. Its also the first time Poison Ivy has came into contact with Batman.

Warner Bros. Montreal actually do something innovative rather than copy and paste everything Rocksteady did in their games.

The End.

I kinda like the idea of Ra´s al Ghul using Poison Ivy to attack Gotham. As far as I know he never did this in the comics.

I agree but also there's only a small opportunity to change things. They can't make drastic changes because it has to feel somewhat familiar.

I think I'd like to see the involvement of the batmobile as long as its only used for transport. I also wouldn't mind more dualplay as long as its balanced. Varied gameplay is also essential here so more great boss encounters is needed.

Setting: about a year after Origins, in the middle of fall

Gotham City- This is the biggest game world yet, featuring South Gotham, Miagani Island, Bleake Island, Founders Island, and an entirely new area on the mainland of the city. It's the middle of autumn. Founders Island is still in the early stages of its renovation so it appears to be one big construction site. For the first time in the series, see Gotham in all its glory, populated by citizens and criminals alike.

Nanda Parbat- A massive stone city carved out of the side of a mountain in the Himalayas. It is blanketed in snow. On the outskirts is a village, full of poor and oppressed people. Further up the mountain, there is a pristine stone city, populated by rich aristocrats devoted to the League. The streets are patrolled by the League, who rule through fear. At the top of the mountain is a giant stone palace, where the Demon's Head himself lives, accompanied by his daughter and his loyal servants.

Plot
In the aftermath of the Blackgate riots, Gotham has experienced a period of great turbulence. Mayor Hamilton Hill stepped down, leaving a power vacuum in the City, which is being filled by criminals. Newly appointed Commissioner Jim Gordon struggles to stamp out corruption in the police force. Crime is in full swing, with criminals becoming more and more bold and outlandish.

Batman has taken on a young boy named Dick Grayson as his apprentice. The boy, an orphan much like Bruce, operates under the moniker Robin. Together, they work each night to dismantle the criminal element holding Gotham by the throat. Assisted within the Police department by Commissioner Gordon, and secretly by his daughter Barbara, they work to save the city from itself.

An unknown attacker has started killing criminals throughout the city. They violent slaughter them, then paint the bat symbol with their blood nearby. Batman must go on the defensive, proving that he is not responsible for these killings. Disgusted that someone would try to profane his crusade with blood, he works tirelessly to find his "admirer."

Eventually he tracks the killer down to Lady Shiva, an assassin he's tangled with before. She works on behalf of the League of Assassins, an organization which seeks to force Batmans hand into killing, and cleansing the city. Batman and the League clash, and he confronts them in their own home, the hidden city of Nanda Parbat.

Once their, he struggles against the League. He fights with their leader Ra's al Ghul, and tries to navigate the advances of his mysterious daughter Talia.

Name: Arkham Origins 2? (I can't think of something better.)
Settings:

It has been a little over a year since the events of Origins 1. It is currently February.

Gotham City: Basically we add up the maps from AK (pre-modernization of Founder's), AC (pre-institutionalization), AA (recently re-opened), AO (with a lot more detail), and Wayne Manor. There is a day/night cycle in the new game, so in the daytime civilians roam the city, and as we all know, the freaks come out at night. that was so corny i am sorry

Bludhaven Civic Center: First featured in the very beginning of the game, there will be multiple acts performing here across the storyline. And of course, villains will find a way to take these over.

Nanda Parbat: Okay I stole this one from Bigbadbatz. But I need the League for my story, and what better place to have them?

Plot:

Opening Act: Batman gets a report that there has been a break-in at the Bludhaven Civic Center. The seats are sold out, and if the police go in, all the civilians will flee, creating a huge problem for the city. Batman can covertly infiltrate the building.
He gets in, and sees Joker searching through old crates in Storage. He hasn't seen Joker since the Christmas Massacre. He attacks Joker, and uses the new Interrogation Mode mechanic. He gets Joker to tell him that he was looking for a medallion. After Joker says this, three gunshots go off, and a child screams. Harley Quinn comes around the corner. She is holding a bat, her jester outfit is splattered with blood, and a pistol hanging from a rope tied around her waist as a makeshift holster. She swings the bat towards Batman's legs. He falls to the ground. She says something about the acrobat dad having the medallion, and Batman sees it is now around her neck. She leaves with Joker. Batman gets up and goes down the hall. He sees a young boy with a tear in his suit's shoulder, where Harley tried to shoot him, and his dead parents beside him. This boy is Richard Grayson.

First Act Summary:
Batman trains Dick as his apprentice. He takes on the moniker of Robin. The first mission they go on (first main part of the game), is to get Joker and Harley into Arkham. On their first fight, they get the medallion from Harley. Batman analyzes it to an ancient order called the League of Assassins. He can not find anything on any current operations. He finds that they were based in Nanda Parbat, and schedules a trip there for him and Robin after they catch Joker and Harley. As they chase them into the City Hall building, where Joker plans to overthrow the mayor, they see a heated debate between District Attorney Harvey Dent and some mobsters. They keep going after Joker, and apprehend him and Harley. As they are leaving, they see Dent's face get deformed. They rush and fight off his attackers. Batman is pushed by a mobster and knocks over the acid container. It shatters, and gets half of Dent's body. Harvey Bullock rushes in, and sees them. He thinks Batman did this to Dent, and shoots at him. Batman and Robin flee the site, and fly to Nanda Parbat.
Once there, they find it completely deserted. There is a big stone door at the very top of the mountain. It has a small slot. Batman tries to use Explosive Gel, but it doesn't even scratch it. He slides the medallion in, and the door opens. Ninjas dart out. They tie Robin's hands and feet, and kidnap him. A woman in a leather outfit walks over to Batman. She has a knife dripping with poison. She sticks Batman in the back with it. He falls to his knees. After completing trials similar to those of AC's League act, he meets Ra's Al Ghul, the woman's father. He shows Batman the Lazarus Pits. Batman fights him in front of them, and beats Ra's down badly. Ra's crawls into the pits, and comes out stronger and younger. He annihilates Batman. They tell him never to return to Nanda Parbat. As Batman and Robin leave, Ra's daughter looks Batman in the eyes, and mouths for help. The doors close, and the medallion is crushed.
Batman and Robin return to Gotham, where they are wanted for attacking Dent. They hide out in the Batcave, watching the most wanted list. All of a sudden, their names fall to #2. Harvey Dent is the new #1. He kidnapped and murdered countless people in the Solomon Wayne courthouse, in some sick, twisted court of law scheme. Batman and Robin set off to find him.

Plot Summary:
Batman and Robin set off to find and take down Dent, and along the way, face many other threats, such as The Ventriloquist, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and Victor Zsasz. After all of these villains are defeated, along with the side missions, you can activate the League Invasion. Batman sends a signal to Nanda Parbat, and the League comes to Gotham. You take down Ra's, he is arrested, and you meet the woman. She is, of course, Talia. You fight her and the League as the final boss fight. At the end of the boss fight, she pushed Batman away, kisses him, and goes with the League to set Ra's free. They destroy Nanda Parbat, and are gone without a trace.

Side Missions:
Prometheus: He has taken over all the GCPD stations across town, and rigged them with bombs to explode. All of the officers are trapped inside. After you free all the officers in a building, you fight Prometheus, wearing down his armor. At the last building, you fight him and successfully defeat him.

Civic Center: Every other in-game day, there is a new performance, and different villains and gangs will take them over. Fight them off. After fighting off five different attacks, the civic center will install new security systems.

Batgirl: Barbara Gordon deduces your identity, and breaks into the Batcave. You come in to find her making a Batgirl costume. She will not reason with you. You take her on a training run dualplay mission where you eliminate rioting criminals in different locations about the city. Once completed, you obtain her as a playable character.

Anarky: Same deal as last time. The fight with him is in a small wood shack outside Nanda Parbat. He relocated and sent off cronies to do his bidding. At the end of the fight, he drops a molotov cocktail, and the building bursts into flames. When you search the ruins, he isn't to be found. You hear a radio transmission from a SWAT team. You go back to Gotham, and see Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad (minus Harley of course) putting him in the back of a truck. You go to fight them, and Deadshot shoots you square in the chest. You have Batsuit armor, but are still knocked down. They drive off.

Maxie Zeus: His place that was abandoned in AC is up and running. You follow almost the exact plot from his BTAS episode.

Bane/Killer Croc: Bane is devolving into the stage we see him in the games Post-AO in the timeline. His venom addiction is becoming more and more severe. He is bigger than ever before. He is tearing cars to shreds. Killer Croc goes out of the sewers, and they start fighting. You have to break them up.

New Mode:
Interrogation mode is a mode where you take the thug/villain, and put them in a lot of pain. You are given different dialogue options. If you take too long, they will escape your hold. They will be more likely to answer you if you hurt them more, but if you hurt them too much, they will pass out.

I REALLY like the interrogation mode (sounds like this game would be rated M).

A twist on The Long Halloween. Harvey deserves a game where he's in the limelight and I feel bad for Troy Baker because he's never gets anything now. He could voice the Joker as well.
