general discussion topics need to be approved now though,

If you saw the amount of topics coming in, then you'd understand why this is stickied!

I find newer members can be some of the worst culprits. Sure they're new to the site, but even when I joined a while back I was smart enough to know the general rules of any forum. Don't make duplicate topics, don't post spam or troll or be a general pain in the ass, and use the search function to check if what you wanna post has already been posted or not. Simple!!

Yeah this needed to be said. Hopefully people will start using the search feature a little more often now, because their are a lot of duplicate threads.

I agree, maybe the mod could delete duplicates? would help clean up the forums and give new posters incentive to actually look before they post a bit more. we don't need 50 new posts every time something new gets posted on the Gotham Times link, just saying.

You know what's funny? I believe this thread is a duplicate itself. Like, I'm pretty sure GDB or someone had created a similar thread.

Oh the irony xD

This happens on every forum. You have to either deal with it or remove pointless threads.

Thought that's why forums had Mods in the first place - to manage the site & content. :-?
