DC: The New Frontier
The Flash - Brightest Day by Geoff Johns

In regards to wonder woman I'm about to pick up the Azzarello stuff over the summer so I'd go with that too. :)

For Flash and Wondy, go for their respective Nu52 series as a starting point, both are among the best series to come out of the reboot.
I'll leave it to KAC to recommend you JLA stuff.

The New Frontier looks interesting. I have also heard great things about Azzarello's Wonder Woman, so I think I'm gonna go for that too. Thanks a lot!

I was thinking about the New 52 stuff. Looks like great starting points. Thank you!

Grant Morrison is my favorite writer ever, so that's a no-brainer. Gonna check out the rest as well. Cheers!

Has anyone here read Batman: Gordon of Gotham and/or Superman & Batman vs. Vampires & Werewolves? Are they worth the time and money?

I am also interested in opinions on a book called The Anatomy of Zur-en-Arrh: Understanding Grant Morrison's Batman by Cody Walker.

I'm quite interested in buying Aquaman: Volume 4 as I really enjoyed Throne of Atlantis, and wanted to know whether volume 4 is as good as the last volume, and also if there are any good villains in the story, and if the story itself is good.

I'm also looking to buy some good justice league books. I'm looking into new 52 Trinity War, volume 5 and Forever Evil HC, but does anyone have any good recommendations of the best of the new 52?

No love for Palmiotti and Gray's All Star Western? That's been fantastic.

Whenever a new DC character hits the big or small screen I like to warm up by reading some comics and make myself more familiar with that character and his/hers universe. And now that we've seen the first picture of Melissa Benoist as Supergirl I think it's about time I'd read myself some Supergirl comics.

So, should I go for some ol' classics, the New 52 books or should I wait for Supergirl: Matrix (Convergence)?

Is Red Hood and the Outlaws any good? Considering picking up a couple of the collected sets.

Based on the few issues I've read, it's not terrible. But it's not great either. I have heard quite a few people praise it though, so maybe just try the first volume and see how you like it.

Yeah I was beginning to think I should just pick up the first volume. Thank you for the input!

I read the first volume a long time ago when it came out , it's not spectacular, but if you like those characters you'll most likely enjoy yourself. I enjoyed it. Some people don't like Rocafort's art, but I personally love it.

If I remember correctly the first volume was pretty okay. Everything afterwards however was quite bad.
