I've got Knightfall Volume 1 and No Man's Land Volume 1. I recently came into the possession of enough to purchase the second volume of either of them. Which should I choose? Knightquest or No Man's Land Vol. 2? I'm currently leaning towards NML2 at the moment but I'd like a second opinion from someone who has both or one of them.

I have vol1 of both like you, but don't have the new volumes, but I love both stories (that's why I'm buying the new ones as well as having my old comics and collections). I'd check which is in lowest stock and get that. If they're the same, get Knightfall.

Anyone here interested in Batman or Hellboy should check out Batman - The Doom That Came to Gotham. It's a three issue Elseworld's mini-series written and illustrated by Mike Mignola, with Batman depicted as a 1920' pulp action hero battling against monsters and magic.

I read it a few weeks ago. It was weeeeird, man. I suppose I would've gotten into it more if I had read into all the Lovecraftian ideas and imagery that Mignola adapts into the story beforehand. The books seem quite empty when you don't have that knowledge.

Oh, and Mignola didn't draw Doom That Came to Gotham, he just wrote it and did the covers.

I need new Batman material, I have all the usual suspects - Killing Joke, Long Halloween, Catwoman in Rome, Dark Victory, Hush, No Man's Land, Joker, ect.

I like some interesting villains, a good story, with mystery involved, what should I look up?
