Grant Morrison's Multiversity - Scheduled for August!

Postby Harvey Bullock » Dec 7th, 2012, 10:50 pm

Can't believe I've only just found out about this, but Grant Morrison is collaborating with Frank Quitely again, this time to deliver an epic spanning multiple universes within the DCU. Love Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely, and I love the Question and Ted Kord, so I'm set. :D

God these look great.

Looking forward to this book ,too . Grant Morrison probably is my favourite comic book writer . He manages to combine the fun of comic books with really great writing .

He's been spending a lot of time on it as well, sounds like it's going to be great.

I am pretty sure it will be good . Grant rarely dissapoints his fans . The only stuff done by him that I didn`t like was the parts of Batman Inc that were about Oracle and the new Internet Wayne Industries invented.

Got to hear him and Frank talk about this at Glasgow Comic Con. Sounds pretty great.

I'm most excited about Quitely drawing The Question, my 2nd favourite artist drawing my 2nd favourite character sounds neato.

Sadly I haven`t ...
Completly forgot that the book existed to be honest . I`ll buy it when I get the chance , but so far I haven`t seen it anywhere and I am already going to get a lot of comics for christmas ,so I rather save a bit money now or spend it on something else .

That's so cool. Quitely is one of my favourite artists too (New X-Men, all star supes, Batman and Robin), and it'll be nice to see the real Question again in comics. After years of having Montoya in the mask I was expecting a great return for Q, but Vic Sage post New 52 is not the Vic Sage I know and love.

This is probably my most anticipated series since Batman Inc.

DEAR LORD, HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?! From my point of view, Morrison's takes on Superman are one of the best takes on the character EVER. Have you read All-star Superman? Have you read Action Comics from the New 52? Have you read JLA? If you haven't, please read them.
Oh, and about that " Stupid satanist " opinion, I'm going to say this to you: he's not a satanist. Doctor Simon Hurt, is a satanist. I don't think that by writing about a satanist you are one.
Anyways, i respect your point of view, although i don´t agree with you.

How did he ruin Supes? I haven't read Action Comics yet, but All-Star Superman is probably the most down to earth portrayal and the defining Superman comic of this generation. I don't like all of Morrison's stuff, but give credit where it's due.

EDIT: And practising chaos magic, despite being totally mental, doesn't make you a Satanist.

I'm not a fan of his Bat stuff (Gothic and AA are good), but his All Star Superman was mighty. I don't always agree or like his material from a conceptual point of view, but the guy's a quality writer.

Really looking forward to this.
