Bump for Harvey

I completely forgot about this book. Didn't know Frank Quitely was involved either. Him and Morrison are one of my favourite teams (after reading All-Star Superman). Can't wait to read this!

So glad we finally know when it will come out. Multiversity could become one of Grant Morrisons greatest works.

I honestly have trouble comprehending that two of my favourite people in the business are making an issue about The Question. :oldyella: It's just too awesome to handle.

I'm sure we're in very safe hands - a Magnum Opus has to be phenomenal after all.

Yeah, though I wonder whether Multiversity or Morrisons Wonder Woman will be better.

I recently talked about the book with a friend of mine. He was sure the book would not get finished any time soon. Guess he was quite suprised when he found out that the first issue will come out in August :oldyella:
I kinda hope he hasn´t hear about the release date, yet. Then he´ll be just as excited as you are when I tell him tomorrow at our local comic shop.

I haven't really been keeping up with news about Multiversity nor do I totally understand what this particular one is cause it doesn't have an issue number but I'm definitely looking forward to it :P
Buzzfeed wrote:DC Superheroes Get The Paparazzi Treatment In “The Multiversity”

Earth is safe, the superheroes have retired, and now their kids lead the pampered lives of celebrity socialites. Which is all fine and good, until Earth isn’t safe anymore. The Multiversity hits shelves October 15th.

From DC Entertainment:

"When they last collaborated, Grant Morrison joined artist Ben Oliver (LOBO, BATMAN/SUPERMAN) for the acclaimed ACTION COMICS #0. For their next team-up, the two superstars take a spin around the self-obsessed Earth-16 – a.k.a. Earth-Me!

With all of the world’s threats having been handled long ago by their parents, the next generation of supers – including Chris Kent, Damien Wayne, Alexis Luthor, Offspring, Megamorpho, Donna Troy and more – find themselves labeled as superstars more often than super heroes. But with that fame comes complacency, and when a massive threat unlike anything they’ve ever seen surfaces, this pampered crew finds themselves in way over their head. What secret is Damien keeping from Chris that could tear the world’s finest friends apart? Who is the mysterious killer lurking behind the scenes among these spoiled super-children? And what chance do they stand against the monstrous villain that’s murdering its way cross the Multiverse? All that and more in this exciting stand-alone issue which also acts as chapter three of the MULTIVERSITY saga. Join us, if your dare, for THE MULTIVERSITY!"

When he gets to write Batman and Justice League again :oldyella:

Maybe Grant Morrison already has his own religion. Once heard from a friend that he actually has followers who whorship him like that. Wouldn´t be suprised if that was true.

I have no idea. Just googled it but couldn´t find anything.

I guess this shouldn´t suprise me,either. The guy who told me about this also claimed Marvels "Volstagg" is a character from Norse mythology :oldyella:

But Grant Morrison once had a dream/psychedelic experience (probably type 5 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychedelic_experience) in which Aliens ordered him to create a Religion. He described it in Kevin Smiths Batman podcast and I was really fascinated by that. Explains all the mystical/drug indruced insanity stuff in his Animal Man and Batman.
