Finished reading "Never Let Me Go" by Kazuo Ishiguro last week. Its part of a list of books I have to read for University. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it though.

The last comics I read were the Green Arrow stories Quiver and Sounds of Violence by Kevin Smith.

I recently picked up the Mudpack arc from Grant's Batman run in the late 80's and early 90's. Its the story that made basil karlo into a shape shifting clayface.

Star Wars and Darth Vader! :adam:

Both books have been fantastic so far, as were the Star Wars mini-series I've read (Shattered Empire, Princess Leia, and Lando). Both the art and writing are just wonderful, and I look forward to reading the rest!

i just finished a massive lot of Secret origin's issues I picked up recently. They ranged from being decent to truly great. Issue 5 which is the origin of Golden Age Batman was a stand out and is truly fantastic.

Started to read the new Daredevil series. Wonder if I will ever finish the Waid run. While I heard it only gets better and better I am a bit intimidated by the number of books that have come out since I last took a look at it.

Really loving Blindspot so far. Personally I think its a great idea to give Daredevil a sidekick... maybe he can fight Elektra someday, I don´t even care that he will probably loose badly

If they continues like this I´ll soon read more Marvel than Dc.

You really need to read at least the second number 1 in waids run onwards. It is amazing. Sadly I have not been enjoying this current run if only for the art.

I read the Skywalker strikes graphic novel and I have to say that it was quite good.
However,
Spoiler: show
i thought that there was no need to bring Sana Solo into it along with a fight between Vader and Luke, even though it was brief it made the duel in cloud city lose some of its sentimental value
with this felt like a bit of a legends story. A 7.8/10 though

Has any one got any canon Star Wars recommendations which I should pick up, I'm considering buying a shattered empire

Shattered Empire is great as is the Vader book (especially if you like the prequels and Clone Wars). In terms of novels you need to buy tarkin. The Kanan comic is apparently really good if you like rebels.

Has anyone read Neal Adam´s the Coming of the Supermen?

After Batman Odyssey I really didn´t think he would be capable of telling a decent Superman story, but this issue really felt like a classic Jack Kirby plot, espacially the crazy reveal at the end which could have come straight out of a Forever People issue. I guess it does his writing a lot of good that he isn´t trying to preach his Pseudo Science world views but instead attempting to do a tribute to one of the most influental comic authors in history.

Oh, and I´ve also found two new Marvel series that I will regulary read from now on. Which already makes four in total:

Red Wolf
Karnak
The Visions
Daredevil

Injustice: Gods Among Us. I finished Year One yesterday and I'm about to start Year Two soon :D

It's been such a long time since I've thoroughly enjoyed a DC series like I have with this. It's so good
