I wasn't complaining. I liked the blast from the past music cues. -- Arkhamverse scores are all mostly repetitive variations of the same tune, anyways. Still, the AK Score, good as it is, could have been better.

I'm surprised at all of the 'ho-hum' responses. I thought the music was fantastic. This thought usually came to me during the emotionally intense parts of the game, however. During the typical gameplay, I didn't really notice the music for good or bad.

I guess I'm just saying that the music delivered big when it was needed.

I am REALLY big on game soundtracks. It's pretty much all I ever listen to anymore...and I have listened to Arkham Knight score multiple times. It's growing on me slowly. There just are not many memorable tracks on the score. Seems very low key. I get it. The main theme is mysterious and low and brooding to try and match the tone, but the whole score overall feels very muted. Thought it would be more epic for the final game.

Which track plays during the

Spoiler: show
death of Poison Ivy?

It's the only one that stuck with me and I'd love to listen fully.

I really like the Inner Demon track, also if there is a volume 2 i hope the track played in the Father to Son trailer is on it.

I really like the variation on the Asylum theme at the beginning just before we play as Batman. It has a sort of old 50's B movie zaniness to it. I really like Darkest Knight also, another Asylum theme variation.

Inner Demon is probably my favourite. I love it's use in the game, particularly during the Ace Chemicals Mixing Chamber.

Invasion is a great update to the Arkham City theme.

Overall the rest sounds great, but is largely atmospheric in a sense. It all sounds like it sets the scene for Batman exploring, brooding, kicking ass, etc. but nothing particularly stand outish. Still a great soundtrack and it's great to have on in the background while doing housework or something.

Inner Demon is my new favorite Arkham song. Kind of wished there were more tracks like that one, but the soundtrack is still pretty good, just a bit too loud at times. Inner Demon managed to be epic without being aggressive. A very moving composition, and really fit well in-game with the context of the story.

E.Nigma Show wrote:Yeah-I'm not gonna lie-that main theme left A LOT to be desired.

I like how it's so ominous, but that track would have been suited better to be maybe Scarecrow's theme, not the theme title track.

A little disappointed in it. It's not catchy at all for a title track.

TFDutchman wrote:Invasion should be the main theme. It's like an upbeat remaster of the Arkham City theme. I think though that the main theme matches the tone of the game more

I agree completely. It really doesn't have an impact on the game itself, but when I started it up for the first time I could not help but to be disappointed by the main theme. So generic! The first half could be the main menu theme for a Call of Duty game, it's only when the Arkham theme kicks in that it's redeemed a little.

Invasion is the Arkham City theme on drugs, and fits perfectly as the main theme with all the focus on the Bat-Tank battles. It was cool to hear it during a fight, but it's really main theme material, and I think it was somewhat squandered.

The Arkham Knight theme absolutely does not hold a candle to the Asylum, City or Origins main themes.

Of the rest of the soundtrack, there are a few good tracks. Evening the Odds and Pursuit are good, and Inner Demon is beautiful, probably my favourite.

I like Fear Within... which is just a better version of Silent Knight. Not complaining, though.

I'm finally getting around to listening to this as a stand-alone piece.

It's dark, brooding and atmospheric, just how I like my Batman soundtracks.
There's, however, nothing that really stands out as bombastic or heroic in the midst of it.
This story is Batman, virtually, sacrificing it all for Gotham. This could have been way more powerful than it is.

Everything on this soundtrack works better in the context of the game.
Tracks aren't really fleshed out, nor do they really build into anything.

This is perfect for a late night cruise or background music while studying, but nothing I'd listen to often for the sake of just listening to it.

Just looked it up on Amazon. It seems that Volume 2 has been released last November.
Yay! I love Urban Sprawl (the free roam theme in the beginning of the game)!
