And it crashed again. Of course.

Probably just due to the size. Try to make sure that you aren't downloading anything else at the same time.

Gah! Downloaded this three times and the download keeps stopping. First time I got 54 minutes of the podcast downloaded before it stopped. Second time I got 2 hours and 4 minutes. Third time I got 2 hours and 10 minutes. Oh well, hopefully by the 7th download I'll have it all.

Awesome work as usual, guys!
I have to say this is my favourite episode yet, hearing about Chris's experience at RS studios/ playing the game has reinvigorated my hype. I'll definitely be listening to this whenever my excitement begins to dwindle :adam:
In particular, the notion of blending combat and predator has certainly piqued my interest. That, and hearing about Red Hood! I -along with a few others, I'm sure- was fearing his DLC would be based around challenge maps, similar to the Initiation DLC for Origins. It's fantastic to hear that instead he has an actual story segment synchronous to Batman's. Would love to see him face off against Arkham Knight.

R_R, if I may ask, did you perchance see anything of the upgrade system or get any information disclosing how it functions? Essentially, I'm just hoping for confirmation that we don't have to go down a set route like we did in Origins. Although I'm 99% sure Rocksteady would most likely stick with what they did in their previous games, that 1% is still just a wee bit... haunting.

Ooh! And it would be amazing to see your notes from the trip!
Pretty please! :D

Podcast was amazing. Easily my favorite one yet. It was very enjoyable and there were plenty of funny moments and comments from both of you. Sounds like you quite enjoyed yourself Chris which is good. All doubts that I had on the game before listening to the podcast are gone. Hearing how much you enjoyed the game has really made my day especially hearing that it is at the very least as good as Arkham City. I could live on just vocal reports like this and interviews up until release. A write up of the notes would be nice to see, though nothing urgent. The work you both do for these forums is astounding and much appreciated.

Also I believe you answered the question in the podcast but can't quite remember. Did you get the oppurtunity to try batarangs or the line launcher mid-flight?

Another killer episode gents, an ArkhamCast highlight for sure.

That must've been such an awesome experience Chris, really stoked that you got to do that, you definitely deserved it.

Any ideas as to what they meant exactly by the "public enemy number one" thing? Do you reckon it could have anything to do with some of your theories?

And can we just take a moment to appreciate Elliot's brilliant idea... Carry On Arkham. That'd be fantastic!

Short answer: I think it's mostly because of where I'm placed - admin of the best Arkham news site on the web (modesty).

Long answer: I know Batman, I know Arkham, our site finds news better than anyone else (as enabled by our fantastic members) and we can put pieces of information together to form the bigger picture together (remember when we worked out that there were two Arkham games in development before Origins was announced?).

Didn't bother with downloading anymore after the third time it crashed (FYI, R_R, I download large files just fine, so something really seems to be wrong with the podcast files...).

I really enjoyed it and like the new bits of information. I really enjoyed hearing about Rocksteady's view on the forum and how much they appreciate what we do :) Also, it's definitely reassuring to hear R_R's approval ;)

So... Red_Robin, you mentioned that we can use the combat specialists' swords? I would love that, and I do, but... wouldn't we be chopping up thugs? Or did you just mean disarming them? Speaking of which... I wonder if all the Special Combos are returning. I'd hate to lose the Bat Swarm.

Same. I downloaded it four times and each time it ccrashed at different points throughout the download. Ended up listening direct from the website. This has happened a couple times to me before when downloading on my tablet though it's always been perfect when downloading on my desktop.

Well, I'm downloading on my desktop and it never works.

Great podcast once again, Chris mentioning Red Hood not being confirmed as Jason Todd makes me think that it truly is a possibility that Joker could be Red Hood.

Is anyone still on the fence about the detective mode control and layout switch-up?

Interesting episode!

Can't wait for June 2015 when I can get my hands on the game myself.
