Runner-up announced next Sunday!

ACUK is giving you the chance to win your own treasure chest comics! We've got three Batman trades, that have all become harder to find; two to give away as our first prize and another as our second.

All you have to do is write up your favourite graphic novel or comicbook arc and explain why it's your favourite! It can be any arc from any series. Take a look at what some users have already written for an idea of what we're looking for: Treasure Chest Comics Archieve.

We will choose our favourite entries to win first and second place, but everyone's work will be highlighted as TCC entries will be released every second Sunday after the winner's announcement.

Prizes
1st Prize - Batman: Gotham by Gaslight & Batman: Thrillkiller
2nd Prize - Batman: Fortunate Son

Entries should be submitted to Red_Robin via PM and should conform to current TCC format (bold title, hyperlinked username underneath, examples of interior art and cover AA main image). You must be a member of ACUK to enter. Open to users in the UK, EU and US/Canada - for anywhere else we need to check prices of shipping.

Deadline for submissions is Sunday 28th October and winners will be picked a week later (to give us time to read them). The winning TCC will be published on the same day as the winner announcement. All entries will be published eventually.

You may submit as many articles as you like, but we will only allow one to count (it will not be possible for someone to win first and second prize).

Feel free to ask questions or discuss your choices here.

UPDATE:Deadline extension. You now have until the 1st of December to submit your entries.

Haha. Excellent way to light a spark in interest for the TCC section. I'd like to get my hands on that Gotham by Gaslight trade. I'll try and write up an entry at some point, since I've been meaning to actually write an article as part of TCC for some time now.

Yes, it counts. You can enter another if you want, but only one will count. Now you know why we held it back!

Ah, so my Hunt for Harley Quinn arc I sent you also counts? In that case, do you think you could dig up the PM I sent to you with it in? I'll make some minor adjustments and resend it to you.

Of course! Yours were great, so it'd be fantastic to have some more!

fair enough. i would not have time enough to time up another one anyways. i go back to school on tuesday. still i'm glad i finally know why it has been held back all this time. Thank you Red_Robin

So with all this going on i am assuming that the next TCC will come out early november ?

Pffftt I'm entering this. Always wanted to read Gotham By Gaslight. I'll probably start mine today.

Question: Must the entry be posted spoiler free, or do we tell the story of the comic from start to finish? Explaining every detail and everything in between?

Seeing as how I loved contributing to the TCC with 4 of mine done and RR holding onto another one, I'm pretty well happy to be able to type up some more :D

I've got several that I'd love to do up. Top of my list being Transformers: Autocracy.
I'd also love to do one for Spider-Man: Ends of the Earth
Doing one for The Ultimates 2 seems only logical following on from my TCC on The Ultimates.
The Thanos Imperative is another that's very high on my list

Those should keep me busy enough and I've got plenty of time to waste over the next four days (though I'll probably only need one )

Have a read through the existing TCC articles (link in OP). Some, like my first one, do go pretty spoiler heavy, others don't reveal the twists and turns of the story, but give an overview. It's really up to you. I spoiled the end to the Robin arc because it can only be found in bargain bins and comic fares. If you were to write up a readily available mystery, such as 'The Long Halloween' however, you might not want to reveal the end.

I'm doing Batman: Hush :)
And is it just for people in the UK? Or anywhere?
