Arkham City Bio
The daughter of Gotham City's Police Commissioner James W. Gordon, Barbara Gordon was forbidden by her overprotective father from joining the GCPD.
Instead, she took the identity of Batgirl and was a crime-fighting partner of Batman for years. But that all ended when the Joker shot through her spine.
Paralyzed from the waist down and confined to a wheelchair, Barbara adopted the new identity of Oracle and now aids the Dark Knight with her computer expertise, providing Batman with a constant stream of information in the field to aid his battle against crime.

Additional Information
Barbara Gordon's eidetic memory helped her on her way to an early entrance into university and a successful career as an administrator of Gotham City Public Library.
After losing the ability to walk, Barbara rededicated herself to fighting crime by becoming an unparalled computer hacker and employing specialised field agents, such as Huntress and the Black Canary.
As a sign of independance, Barbara's wheelchair has no handles. Oracle continues a grueling training regimen and has outfitted her chair with hidden extendable batons and taser weapons.

Possible role in Arkham 3
Continued support from the Clocktower. The Clocktower itself could be a possible hub for Gotham's heroes as the City descends into it's latest catastrophe. We could also see an echo of the Hunt for Oracle storyline, in which a crime lord hires mercenaries to track down and destroy the Bat-family's greatest asset, only to find that Barbara is nowhere near defenseless.

Essential reading
Batgirl: Year One, Batman: the Killing Joke, Batman: No Man's Land, Birds of Prey/Nightwing: Hunt for Oracle, Batman: Black Mirror

Chances of appearing in Arkham3
6/10

How haven't I seen this?

I don't think we'll see too much of Oracle. She was overkill in AC and TBH I don't like her. I prefer Alfred.

I'm 100% sure that she will return, but I like Alfred more.

Liked Alfred more than Oracle in AC, though I'm pretty sure she will make a return, hopefully she will have a in the flesh appearance.

I absolutely love the hub idea. Clocktower would serve as a place to pick up gadget upgrades (upgrade yourself/gadget modification a la Metal Gear 4?). It could also serve as a place to check on gang activity and read character bios

I want Alfred, not Oracle. And if she absolutely must return, I'd rather her Asylum personality. In AC she was kind of painful.

I do feel she was... A tad annoying in AC. I'd prefer if Alfred took over her role completely for the next game.

However I'd love a short cameo from both characters. We need to see them in the flesh! I like the idea of them sorta being in the background, but they do deserve a bit more attention.

I love the Hub idea. Maybe she could just give you the odd report on goings on, but Alfred could be your main information & contact source.

Alfred, is (IMO) the second maby third coolest character in the Dc universe, and i would much rather want him innstead for Oracle. And if u actually met ┬┤him would be great. And a dream... play as him ^__^... would be awesome
