For what it was (to build hype for the movie) it was an alright game. The story was similar to the movie but had its own twist to it which was cool. The different skins were cool too. I think the combat got repititive though.

I loved this game! I think this or Batman Vengeance was the game that made me appreciate batman a little more than when I was younger. I used to play this game every month once.

I also preferred vengeance but I think that this game is highly underrated

I liked the game for the most part, but the 'area fear' aspect was the standout feature.

Before Asylum, this was my favorite Batman game hands down. As the aforementioned posted Red Robin brought out it was the first Bat game to bring in the fear aspect something they refined in the Arkham series. I also loved the Batmobile/Tumbler levels. They gave a nice action break from the stealth and fit in quite nicely. That's why I'm a little disappointed Rocksteady nor Montreal has not taken a beat from this game and incorporated Batmobile gameplay. It would be a very nice compliment to the series especially if they enhance upon it.

The combat in Begins was alright and it probably was the game's biggest flaw. Although considering it wasn't as bad as I'd seen in other games, and it worked fairly well that's a pretty big compliment. The only thing I never liked was the lunatics. They were without the toughest enemies to fight in Begins and considering you also fight the League of Shadow ninjas in the game it was a bit ridiculous. Thankfully Rocksteady did take a cue from this and the lunatics in Asylum were nerfed considerably- like they really should have been.

It's too bad I don't have it anymore. Even though having Asylum and City I wouldn't mind popping it in once in a while and playing it for nostalgia's sake. That and Batman Vengeance.

I didn't know that I just thought they cancelled it for no reason, another thing I like about the batman begins game is voice actors and locations like the docks, arkham asylum and the construction site

I really loved this game! I used to play it almost everytime on my PS2. Before "Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham City", this was my favorite Batman game. I still remember the times that I got stuck in the 3rd mission. :oldyella:

From what I remember I enjoyed it. I remember repeatedly going up to the video store every week to just rent it out again and replay it on my old X-Box 360. Unfortunately, it wouldn't save any of my games, so I would have to repeatedly replay everything over and over again, it was very repetitive, just like the combat. :oldyella:

I remember reading something was wrong with the gliding mechanic of the Dark Knight one, and they didn't know how to work around it, something that had to do with the way they were building the city or having Batman move around in it.

I liked it. My favorite part was the gliding ability. It seems second nature now, but Batman Begins was the first time to ever see Batman use his cape to glide without the aid of some sort of contraption. That was pretty cool.

I didn't like the Tumbler sequences - I thought they were too arcadish and kind of made me take the rest of the game less seriously. I hope that doesn't happen with Arkham Knight, but I am worried.
