Just the mere fact that this is a Tell Tale Batman title means Episode 1 will be a day 1 purchase for me. I have avoided all footage as I trust the studio and cannot wait to engage in this story.

Baker's Bruce is a little... off. We'll see.

Overall it looks pretty rad, I'm so happy we're finally getting a Batman game that focuses on Dent and the crime lords!

Yeah Baker is doing the exact voice he did for Rhys in Tales from the Borderlands.

No Joker, please. Throughout the entire season.

Yeah, I could do without Joker in the first season, too. Might be nice to visit him locked up in Arkham in season 2, though. I think writers should show more how Bruce is making a difference in Gotham and how his approach to treating criminals actually keeps them in check for some time.

Ooh, I'd like that. Especially the last bit you mention. Proper Batman, like in BTAS, trying to actually help his crazier enemies.

Something else I'd like is for them to keep teasing his presence, in like a... not necessarily, but kind of horror way? Like, we don't ever actually get to see him, but we think we see him, maybe. A tiny glimpse, but not really. The idea of him, etc.

I don't think his presence needs to be felt throughout the game... the focus of the plot seems to be too much on the politics of Gotham for that. But it would be cool if you could find a newspaper with an article about the first Joker case. Maybe even from before Gotham had a good idea what Batman and Joker are about, with a headline such as:

“Madman threatens to poison Gotham resevoir“

Oh, wait, no, that's not what I meant exactly? Like, if they were gonna have him, I'd like it to be done that way. But, not necessarily throughout the whole thing. Just, a few teases here and there, maybe.

I'd really love for it to be your newspaper idea, though! :adam:

I am so hyped. A Batman game that highlights the importance of the Bruce Wayne part of the equation? It's practically made for me.

Yeah, for me too. I wonder how Bruce relationship with Selina and Vicki will effect his character arc. It seems likely that Vickie will become a larger part of Bruce´s life if you focus more on the Bruce Wayne solutions than the Batman ones.

i just finished episode 1 and man is it good. Asylum is my dream Batman game cause it tackles the psychology but the next most important thing about batman (which was never touched upon by the arkham games) for me is Bruce Wayne. I hate the idea that Bruce is just a mask and this game is on my side. It shows how important Bruce is and we finally have a batman game set over the course of several days!!!

GamesRadar's review. Sounds like a good-game-but-wasted-potential case. Doesn't matter. Still buying it once it's complete. Also, kind of dumb of me to say that, I suppose, since it's still a good game. So, erm, yeah.

Me, too. But does the game really disagree? I think Bruce at one point claimed Batman is who he really is. Was he proven wrong. Also about another character in episode 1:

Spoiler: show
I thought Telltales take on Penguin was weird. Definately unique and enjoyable, but it´ll take time getting used to "Oz".

Episode one doesn't seem to be popping up for me only the season pass. Do you have to buy this whole season pass or can you buy episode one separate?

Episode one can be bought separately. Don't know why it won't show up. But, just to warn you, it isn't free.
