Based in - Gotham City
Eye Colour - Blue
Hair Colour - None (Blonde)
Height - 5 ft 8 in
Weight - 150 lbs
First Appearance - Batman: Shadow of the Bat #1 (June, 1992)

- sociopath with no regard for human life
- no pattern of killing, making him difficult to track
- compulsive need to kill others

Arkham City Bio
A true sociopath, Zsasz grew up in a life of ease, but nonetheless became a serial killer. Indiscriminate in his prey, body coint is the only thing that matters to Zsasz.
he carves a mark for each of his victims into his own body and is saving a special spot for the Batman.
Since being thrown into Arkham City, his whereabouts are unknown, though reports of a rising body count fits his modus operandi.

Additional Information
After the Death of his rich and influential parents, Victor began to take up gambling, a hobby that would later cost him his Home, Inheritance and his Influence in the city. Seeing no point in living any longer without his wealth, Zsasz tried to commit suicide of the Sprang Bridge. It was here that Victor gained his first kill when he turned on the homeless man that attacked him. While being threatened at knife-point, Zsasz came to his twisted realization that life was too much of a burden for anyone to bear and made it his life mission to “liberate” individuals from this existence. Zsasz sees no meaning to life, and will often say he 'liberates' his victims from the burden of living, to the point at which he calls them 'zombies'. This grim outlook on life makes Zsasz an extremely dangerous and unpredictable opponent for the Batman, with vast numbers left with their throats slit and left in lifelike poses - all recorded by the scars on Zsasz's body - one for every “zombie” who meets the blade of his knife.

Possible role in Arkham 3
Zsasz's mind is always working and being stuck in a glass case will give him lots of time to think of his next move once he gets out. Will he go on a killing rampage or will he be more focused in his approach next time around? Zsasz has a grudge against Penguin from his past so maybe he'll attack him or be hired by another crime boss to remove Cobblepot. Batman will no doubt have to stop this madman once again in A3, as Zsasz's knives aren't going to stop swinging until he stops breathing. Zsasz will be craving for blood after his defeat by Batman, meaning more peoples lives will be at stake. He may want to 'play a game' similar to the challenge he set for Batman in Arkham City, or perhaps Zsasz just wants to get straight to the point of things, and finally attempt to kill the Dark Knight. Whichever way, another mark must be made... And soon.

Essential reading
Shadow of The Bat #1 (Debut Issue), Batman: Streets of Gotham #11, Knightfall: Part 3, Battle for The Cowl, Detective Comics #796, Detective Comics 815-816, Batman Chronicles #3

Chances of appearing in Arkham3

Additional Information: After the deaths of his wealthy parents. Zsasz turned to gambling, before finally ending up losing everything, including his will to live, at the Gotham Casino. His first kill came after he attempted to commit suicide off the Gotham Bridge, when he turned on the homeless man that attacked him. Zsasz sees no meaning to life, and will often say he 'liberates' his victims from the burden of living, to the point at which he calls them 'zombies'. This grim outlook on life makes Zsasz an extremely dangerous and unpredictable opponent for the Batman, with vast numbers left with their throats slit and left in lifelike poses - all recorded by the scars on Zsasz's body.

Role in A3: Zsasz will be craving for blood after his defeat by Batman, meaning more peoples lives will be at stake. He may want to 'play a game' similar to the challenge he set for Batman in Arkham City, or perhaps Zsasz just wants to get straight to the  point of things, and finally attempt to kill the Dark Knight. Whichever way, another mark must be made... And soon.

Essential Reading: Shadow of The Bat #1, Batman Chronicles #3, Knightfall: Part 3, Battle For The Cowl, Detective Comics 815-816

As a side note, Zsasz is a great addition to the Arkhamverse series on the whole. I really do hope he returns one more time, though I only expect a cameo seeing as though his role has been relatively large in the past two games.

Possible Role:Something minor, like in AA.I think he was used well in AC,that's about the "screen time" he can get.
Chances: 3/10.Only as a side mission.RS doesn't overuse characters.

Additional Information: Victor Zsasz has only one purpose: to give people the “gift” of death. Zsasz has a twisted world view as a result of his parents’ death and a near-suicide experience turned into a mugging gone wrong. While being threatened at knife-point, Zsasz came to his twisted realization that life was too much of a burden for anyone to bear and made it his life mission to “liberate” individuals from this existence. As such, he will kill everyone and anyone making him extremely difficult to track, predict, and ultimately stop. Zsasz is certifiably insane in every aspect of the word yet very cunning, once described as having a “brilliant criminal mind”. His wiry body is covered in scars, one for every “zombie” who meets the blade of his knife.

Possible Role in A3: Zsasz's mind is always working and being stuck in a glass case will give him lots of time to think of his next move once he gets out.

Chances of Appearing: 6/10 - Zsasz will probably be in the next game, but I personally don't think that he'll have a very big role. Probably more on the scale of AA, just one or two scenes.

In response to my challenge last week: Good job TheJester! Competition brings out the best so I encourage even more people to try and write the additional info and possible role sections. The more people that write them, the better they get. Let's see if we can get a third or fourth member writing to up-the-ante once again!

Your very welcome. For a new member, you certainly contribute a lot to this aspect of the site :) I live writing up entries for these profiles; after all, I do know a lot about the characters.

C'mon people, let's have some entries!

8/10

I think Zsasz is in for sure.....I don't know why but I just have the feeling RS particularly like him.....his roles were great in AA and AC and I think he'll be in Arkham 3

In AA, he kills and poses numerous arkham guards, ties a guard to an electric chair, and snatches up Dr.Young.....notice these are all indirect attacks on Batman knowing that they'll get his attetion

In AC, he kills and poses an inmate, constantly uses the payphones to get Batmans attention, and holds two guards hostage in order to lure the Batman to him.....once again all indirect attacks

In Arkham 3, I think it'll be the first time he truly takes a direct approach and goes out of his way to get the "mark" that he so desperately desires.....I actually see a sneaky knife attack that we have to counter or something

But I still see his role being very small and think he'll get another side mission like in AC....no villain can say they got punched by Batman in all 3 games but I think Zsasz will be the first to be able to say that

Why are you putting words in Rocksteady's mouth? They've already re-used every single character from Arkham Asylum in Arkham City, except Scarecrow.

Possible Role in A3: Zsaz will be hungry for blood and revenge making him even more dangerous than before, he will stop at nothing to see Batman lying on the floor bleeding and knowing at last he has the mark he's been waiting for all this time.

I hope he comes back. He was used well in the first two games and Rocksteady seems to like him. I'm sure he'll be in the next game again as a side mission.

I've been very pleased with how you two have taken to this feature. There are a few other stand out that I've noticed, but you two are in there every week.

Keep up the good work! :alfred:

Just a little question, one that's been on my mind for sometime.

If Zsasz ever took Titan or Venom, would his scars reopen ?
